The EU-funded automotive cluster networks BeLCAR and TCAS are jointly organising their final conference and matchmaking event in Barcelona, Spain, on 12 and 13 June.
Day one is reserved for an international matchmaking event. Today electricity is rediscovered as an energy carrier for mobility applications. From mild-hybrids to full electric vehicles, new visions of vehicles and power-trains are due for market launch in the coming years and a series of new technologies and vehicle concepts are currently under development. The morning session will include ten-minute presentations by a company from each partner region during which they will present their organisations or enterprises and then offer a glimpse of their projects. The afternoon part will follow with a one-to-one conversation session that will enable possible business relationships to be explored.
Day two of the event is planned to provide a platform for exchange between representatives of the automotive industry, European cluster initiatives and academia as well as policy-makers and innovation professionals.
