Europhoton Conference 2008, Paris, France
The conference features the latest breakthroughs in the field of solid-state, fibre and wave-guided light sources. Researchers will discuss the latest developments in the scientific community, while educational sessions at the student and postdoctoral level will be accompanied by informal breakout sessions for discussion and vendor display viewing.
In addition, there will be a special symposium on extreme light sources in measurements and sensing which will explore extremes in optics and laser sources in the light of new applications in physics, metrology, high precision spectroscopy and optical communications.
The conference is organised by the European Physical Society, the Institut d'Optique Graduate School of Palaiseau, France, and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris in cooperation with the Quantum Electronics and Optics Division (QEOD) of the European Physical Society.For further information, please visit:
