The Lithuanian Institute of Biotechnology and Biotechnology Association are organising the Seventh ScanBalt Forum from 24 to 26 September in Vilnius, Lithuania. The forum will take place together with the ScanBalt Biomaterials Days 2008.
The aim of the forum is to strengthen cooperation in the ScanBalt BioRegion in the field of life sciences. The ScanBalt Forum aims to facilitate networking of academia, industry and public authorities and promote international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The event will consist of:
- presentations of ongoing and planned projects, search for collaborations;
- discussions on cancer, biomaterials, and other relevant scientific topics;
- policy discussions.
The speakers from academia, research institutes, and industry include a number of prominent scientists in various fields of cancer and biomaterials research from all over the world, as well as Lithuanian scientists representing key institutions of biotechnological and biomedical research in Lithuania.For further information, please visit:
