ICT bio-medical sciences 2008 conference, Brussels, Belgium
Addressing issues of 'Computer modelling and simulation for improving human health', the conference aims to provide an insight into existing and future prospects in integrative research for complex human diseases at European and international levels through:
- communicating the opportunities and challenges of the virtual physiological human and integrative systems biology and other topics that lie at the crossroads of information and communication technology (ICT), biology and medicine;
- providing the possibility for discussions on progress beyond the current state of the art and to promote international cooperation and networking;
- providing an overview of the current activities in these domains not only in the EU but also in the US and other countries, and to examine opportunities for closer cooperation between EU and US funding agencies.
ICT bio-medical sciences 2008 will be held in parallel with an exhibition, a meeting mainly organised by the newly funded Virtual Physiological Human Network of Excellence and a transatlantic workshop on multiscale cancer modelling.For further information, please click:
