The seventh international workshop on space pyrotechnics organised by the European Space Agency (ESA) and French Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES) will be held in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, from 2 to 4 September.

The main aim is to stimulate discussion and an exchange of ideas while promoting contact between all those involved in or affected by the use of pyrotechnics in space systems.

The emphasis is on the applications. Complementing presentations on products, it is essential to know how and why pyro-devices are used in space missions. Users are encouraged to make presentations on their experiences or needs for the future.

In addition, a half-day will be devoted to statistics. Lectures will be given by a professional statistics consultant, who will be available to discuss statistical solutions and give assistance to participants with problems related to reliability quantification.For further information, please visit:
