The 12th European roundtable on sustainable consumption and production (erscp2008) will take place from 23 to 25 September in Berlin, Germany, as part of the Forum for Sustainability of the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF).

The overall goals of the international conference are to facilitate innovation and promote sustainable consumption and production by challenging participants' projects, ideas and approaches and by stimulating debate regarding their contribution to sustainable development. Best-practice examples will be shared, solution-driven opportunities explored and joint projects initiated.

The main issues of erscp2008 are:
- sustainable housing and construction in Europe;
- sustainable supply-chain management;
- sustainable production and resource efficiency;
- sustainable energy supply and consumption.

The conference is expected to attract about 300 international participants, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), scientists and researchers from research organisations, universities and industry, along with decision-makers from UN organisations, the EU and national as well as regional ministries and administrations and private and public funding institutions.For further information, please visit:
