Conference on materials and coatings under extreme conditions, Ukraine

The fifth international conference on 'Materials and coatings under extreme conditions: studies, applications, environmentally friendly technologies of production and utilisation of products' will take place from 22 to 26 September in Zhukovka, Ukraine.

Concentrating on the most important fields of materials science, the conference will cover the following topics:
- principles of the design of materials and coatings for extreme conditions;
- scientific background and computer modelling of the processes for the fabrication of materials and coatings for extreme conditions;
- prospective technologies of the production of the materials and coatings for extreme conditions;
- structure and properties of materials and coatings for extreme conditions;
- heat-shielding coatings;
- experimental results on the application of materials and coatings in natural extreme conditions;
- possibilities and modern technologies for processing industrial waste for the fabrication of constructional and other materials;
