The European Conference on Ambient Intelligence (AmI 08) will be held in Nuremberg, Germany from 19 to 22 November.
With a theme of ' Services for people', the AmI 08 conference will look at two fields of applications: 'Well-being and care' and 'Mobility and logistics'. The event is intended for researchers from academia and industry who are working on hardware, software, applications, services, security and ethical issues.
During the conference, experts will speak on a range of topics, including: 'Service-oriented smart and comfortable homes for better recreation and leisure time', 'Intelligent and cooperative domestic devices for smart home and shopping environments', 'Navigation and guidance in unknown environments and unusual situations' and 'Context-oriented health monitoring and alerting systems for a carefree life'.
