The Medibtikar programme will hold the fourth textile workshop for the Medibtikar textile network, in parallel with other activities, at the EGYTEX 2008 trade fair from 16 to 18 November in Cairo, Egypt. The MEDA INNOVA fashion show, with input from the Medibtikar design network, will also be co-hosted.
During the events, Medibtikar aims to establish meetings between textile companies from Europe and countries which border the Mediterranean (MEDA), as well as arranging meetings between European buyers and exhibitors.
The Medibtikar textile network is a project initiated by the Medibtikar programme of the European Commission. The main objective of the project is to support innovation and technology transfer, and the textile sector has been identified as a key area. The textile network has three parts: an employer network, a network of technical centres and a design network.For further information, please visit:
