RACE Advanced Communication Services Exhibition

A RACE Advanced Communication Services Exhibition will take place on 4-5 October 1994 in Brussels.

A Technical audit of the RACE projects takes place every year. As the programme comes to an end, and the new programme ACTS (Advanced Communications Technologies and Services) begins, more prototypes of advanced communications services are becoming available. These prototypes will be demonstrated to the general public including the Belgium actors in the field and the EU staff. 17 projects decided to take this opportunity to present their developments to a wider audience.

The projects will make demonstrations of:

- Applications in several domains like tourism, culture or finance;
- Advanced Services like Multimedia Mail or Joint Viewing and Tele-Operation;
- Advanced Transport Protocols like XTP, providing user control QoS;
- Network Management and ATM technology.
