Biofine Europe 2009 will take place on 16 and 17 April in Freiburg, Germany. The event combines two conferences entitled 'Drug discovery and delivery: membrane proteins and natural product research' and 'Applied industrial synthetic biology in Europe - status quo and perspectives'.
The first event will cover recent discoveries in the structure and mechanisms of biological systems and new delivery systems to improve drug efficiency. The second event will be dedicated to such topics as engineering of proteins, synthetic biology in mammalian cells and more.
The EU-funded TESSY ('Towards a European Strategy for Synthetic Biology') project will use the opportunity to present its final results.For further information, please visit:
