A summer school on 'Nuclear receptor signalling: from molecular mechanisms to integrative physiology' will be held from 23 to 28 August on the island of Spetses, Greece.

Intended for PhD students and post-docs, the objective of the summer school is to give the participants an integrated view on recent concepts and methodological progress in the analysis of nuclear receptor signalling pathways. The school consists of lectures, workshops, tutorial group discussions, student poster sessions and oral presentations. Workshops will focus not only on specific scientific topics, methods, concepts and future directions, but also career development.

The summer school is funded by the Federation of European Biochemical Societies and the EU-funded CRESCENDO ('Consortium for research into nuclear receptors in development and ageing') project and organised in collaboration with the CASCADE Network of Excellence.For further information and application, please visit:
