Istria Economic Forum, Pula, Croatia

The Istria Economic Forum will take place on 31 March in Pula, Croatia. The forum, the second of its kind, is organised by the Croatian Region of Istria under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Stjepan Mesic.

The event will provide opportunities to highlight development projects and investments in the local economy. Discussions will cover topics such as economic development, the current global economic crisis and related issues and challenges for Istrian enterprises.

CORDIS, the Community Research and Development Information Service, will present EU funding opportunities in research.

The Istria Economic Forum is conceived as a new way of communication between private and public bodies. In its framework, representatives of public institutions present measures for economic development and encourage private organisations to present their projects, as well as any difficulties they encounter.For further information, please contact:
