Seventh European Feminist Research Conference, Utrecht, Netherlands
The conference reflects the diversity of gender and women's studies, encompassing interdisciplinary perspectives on imagination, knowledge and politics. A focus will be on the way in which imagination, knowledge and politics inform gendered cultures in contemporary Europe.
Overarching themes will include the following:

- 'Sexuality: public, private and beyond';
- 'War and violence';
- 'Media and technology: the politics of representation';
- 'Multi-ethnic Europe: identities, boundaries and communities';
- 'Stories to tell: fiction, history and memory';
- 'Generations in feminism: women's movements of past, present and future';
- 'Cultures of knowledge: sciences, humanities and gender';
- 'Social & economic Europe: geographies of work and care'.
