An international congress on 22 and 23 April in El Puerto de Santa María, Spain, will address matters of research, development and innovation in aquaculture.
The event aims to bring together the principal public and private research groups and agents working in the field of aquaculture in order to discuss coordination, guidance, funding and transfer of applied research.
The conference organisers are planning on analysing and discussing:
- the most reliable indicators which provide an approximation of the effectiveness in research: patents applied in business innovation, results of consultation, etc;
- criteria used to decide if the financing of projects is the most appropriate;
- groups responsible for controlling and monitoring of results in research;
