The Fourth European Forum on Safety and Security Systems will take place in Potsdam, Germany, on 4 and 5 June.
The European Commission has allocated funds for safety-related research in the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). There are also concerns, though, about the creation of a European security market. Just developing new technologies and solutions will not completely meet the needs of end users. Instead, a wider picture needs to be drawn to ensure that complex challenges are met and existing structures built upon.
The conference specifically addresses the transfer and implementation aspects of new safety and security technologies. The event will also provide the opportunity to present prototypes and new developments under real conditions.For further information, please click:
