The Federation of the Societies of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (FEBS) has scheduled a practical course in computational biology from 2 to 9 August in Split, Croatia.

Computational methods are rapidly gaining importance in all fields of biology. This practical course will provide lectures and tutored, hands-on training in basic computational methods for the spatio-temporal modelling and simulation of biological systems.

The course is intended for Master and PhD students with a strong interest in computational approaches. Participants will learn how to account for the geometry of a system and for transport in space. They will be introduced to a powerful numerical simulation method, with enough time and supporting tutors to implement and try all of the taught concepts and methods.For further information, please visit:
