The final conference of the VIS ('Vulnerability of information systems') project will take place in Brussels, Belgium on 27 May.
The conference aims to highlight the results achieved by the FORMIT research team within the project. The support of the project in suggesting methodologies for mitigating the impact of information and communication technology (ICT) breakdowns and in defining priorities will also be featured. Specific topics will include:
- a methodology to assess the potential damages of total ICT breakdowns at the corporate level;
- rankings of the most ICT vulnerable sectors at national and at European level according to the effects in term of reduction of output, social welfare, value and employment at national and European level.
The VIS final conference will also allow discussion on the future research topics connected to the identification of critical infrastructures other than ICT.For further information, please visit:
