The Association of European Science and Technology Transfer Professionals (ASTP) will hold its annual conference on 'Best practices in transfer of science and technology' on 28 and 29 May in Ghent, Belgium.
A wide range of current topics and themes have been selected for discussion including:
- an introductory track that focuses on 'spinning out', with special attention to when (not) to create a spin-off, the business plan, raising capital and shareholder agreements;
- a series of sessions focusing on interactions with the various players in the tech transfer ecosystem: the researchers, the university, government, industry, and politics/government officials;
- a track on 'Challenges in technology transfer': validation of technologies, arts and humanities, proof-of-concept schemes revaluated, valorisation of tissue- and databanks, and post-deal follow-up.For further information, please click:
