The second European Conference on Corporate Research and Development (CONCORD 2010) will take place in Seville, Spain, from 3 to 4 March 2010.

Entitled 'Corporate research and development (R&D): an engine for growth, a challenge for European policy', the event is being organised by the Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS) of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) and the Spanish Centre for Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI).

The conference aims to link science, business and policy making, and looks to promote understanding of the policy implications of scientific findings. In particular, it will address the dynamics of corporate R&D, innovation, competitiveness and economic growth.

Organisationally, the first day of the event will be a forum for academics and practitioners. The second will be devoted to the policy dimension of corporate R&D, based on the most relevant policy outcomes of debate on the previous day.For further information, please visit:
