The 2009 NEM (Networked and electronic media) summit 'Towards future media internet' will take place in Saint-Malo, France, from 28 to 30 September.
The event, organised by the NEM European Technology Platform under the aegis of the European Commission Directorate-General for Information Society and Media, will be dedicated to the following subjects:
- electronic media content;
- distributed media applications;
- new media delivery networks and network services;
- user devices and terminals;
- NEM enabling technologies.
The NEM Summit will allow researchers and research consortia to increase the visibility of their work. This will be complemented by a special session focussed on strategic aspects and roadmapping of multimedia applications. The summit will also include a forum where the latest innovations in the NEM field will be illustrated. Information on funding opportunities for research collaboration under the ICT (information and communication technology) Theme of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) will also be provided.For further information, please visit:
