The 11th IAGA (International Association of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy) Scientific Assembly will be held from 23 to 30 August in Sopron, Hungary.

The meeting will be composed of a variety of lectures and symposia covering some of the following topics and many more:
- 'Planetary dynamos: theory, models, observation and experiment';
- 'Consequences of ionospheric-magnetospheric processes on magnetotelluric response functions';
- 'Continental lithospheric formation and deformation';
- 'Near surface and environmental studies using electromagnetic induction';
- 'Crustal tectonic processes constrained by electromagnetic observations';
- 'Developments in magnetic anisotropy';
- 'Palaeointensity and archaeointensity - results and their implications, methodological advances, and open issues';
- 'Rock magnetism: theory, experiments and observations';
- 'Environmental magnetism and biomagnetism'.
