Networking event in the field of water management and sanitation for Europe, Africa, and EECA, Vienna, Austria

A networking event in the field of water management and sanitation for Europe, Africa, and Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) will be held on 16 and 17 September in Vienna, Austria.

The aim of the two-day event is to initiate competitive research project proposals in the field of water management, sanitation and sludge treatment for upcoming calls of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) in the field of the Environment. Following a joint Africa-EU strategy, the European Union will launch a cross thematic 'Africa call' with 63 million Euros available for funding.

The event is organised by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) in cooperation with Project Management Jülich (PTJ), Germany, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research (BMWF), the Enterprise Europe Network in Austria, the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) and the EU-funded projects INT-ER-LINK and ENV-NCP-TOGETHER.For further information, please visit:
