A conference on "The citizen and heritage" will be held on 4-5 October 1994 in Brussels. Jointly organized by the European Commission, DG X, and the European Parliament during the German Presidency, the conference is part of a series of meetings in the field of cultural heritage at Community level.
The conference, which will concentrate on policy rather than technical issues, will bring together a wide range of experts to discuss future lines of action in the field of European cultural heritage.
A significant part of the conference will be of interest to those working in the field of environmental research.
