An international information day and brokerage event for the third Space Call in Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) will be held on 16 September in Warsaw, Poland.
This event is being jointly organised by several National Contact Points (NCPs) for Space and the EU-funded network COSMOS. It will be preceded by an evening reception on 15 September.
The international information day and brokerage event will start with a presentation of the call content, followed by an introduction of the Research Executive Agency (REA). This new institution has already begun to assume responsibility for overseeing FP7 Space projects and will manage the evaluation and negotiation of third Space Call proposals.
The schedule includes two parallel sessions will highlight global monitoring for the environment and security (GMES) and 'Space foundations', as well as discussions on target regions addressed in the call (Russia, South Africa and equatorial regions in Africa, Asia and South America).
An additional focus of the event will be a forum for project partner search. Participants will be able to introduce their institutions and project ideas in short presentations.For further information, please visit:
