A conference on 'Advanced lightweight structures and reflector antennas' will be held from 14 to 16 October in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The event is being organised by the Georgian Technical University under the aegis of the European Space Agency (ESA) in order to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the space flight and successful test of the first Georgian space object - The Large Deployable Reflector.
The objectives are to:
- explore state-of-the-art and innovative approaches for advanced lightweight structures and reflector antennas;
- share expertise between space and ground approaches for lightweight structures.
The participants will also be introduced to ongoing and future projects of the Institute of Constructions, Special Systems and Engineering Maintenance of the university.For further information, please visit:
