A workshop on the convergence of conventional microelectronics and nanotechnology will be held from 15 to 17 September in Grenoble, France.

This workshop is scheduled to be the final event of a series of training courses organised in the framework of the Marie Curie project PROMINAS ('Prototyping in the micro and nanoscale'). The objective of the series has been to train a limited number of PhD students and postdocs, without restriction of geographical origin, in the most recent lab techniques in processing and characterisation of micro- and nanoelectronic devices.

The event is primarily intended for course trainees in this series. However, other researchers engaged in micro and nanoelectronics are also welcome. Attendance is limited to 120 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.For further information, please visit:
