Seminar on the conclusions of the European Foresight Expert Group, Brussels, Belgium

A seminar entitled 'The world in 2025 - conclusions from the European Foresight Expert Group' will take place on 24 September in Brussels.

Building on input from an expert group set up by the European Commission and several directorates-general, the event will highlight future trends in demography, urbanisation, macro-economic projections, education, science and culture. In addition, issues such as demands on natural resources, new production-consumption patterns, a 'multi-polar world' and socio-ecology beyond technological innovation will be addressed.
