A stakeholder meeting entitled 'Opportunities and challenges for biotech in new EU Member States' will take place on 24 September in Brussels, Belgium.
Organised within the framework of the EU-funded INDECS-H ('Development capacity index for biotech companies in new Member States') project, the event will gather EU officials, investors and healthcare biotech stakeholders from industry and research.
The project has worked to provide a picture of biotech development in new EU Member States and candidate countries, as well as to improve the visibility of biotech companies for networking and investment opportunities. The final report of the project, highlighting the status of growth potential for healthcare biotech-related small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), will be presented during the event.
In addition, key players in biotech development will share their experiences and provide feedback on biotech development opportunities and support in the new Member States and candidate countries.For further information, please download the draft agenda:
