The EU-funded EUROSIS network and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research are jointly organising a brokerage event for science in society on 2 October in Brussels, Belgium.

EUROSIS is the network of National Contact Points (NCPs) for the Science in Society Work Programme. The main purposes of the NCPs are to assist potential participants in the Framework Programmes and raise awareness of EU research funding throughout Europe.

With these aims in mind, the event will:
- provide information about the new 2010 Science in Society Work Programme and features such as the mobilisation and mutual learning initiatives;
- give insights into the evaluation procedure for project proposals;
- highlight success stories from previous projects;
- give tips on writing project proposals;
- give the opportunity to present project ideas;
- provide an occasion for prearranged meetings during the afternoon session.For further information, please click:
