National Contact Point information days, multiple locations, France

The French National Contact Point (NCP) for the Ideas Programme under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) is organising several information days dedicated to the European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grants and Advanced Grants calls for 2010.

Members of the Ideas NCP will provide participants with information about the role and mission of the ERC, focusing on ERC calls for Starting Independent Researcher Grants and Advanced Investigators Grants (competitive candidates, eligibility, preparing the proposal, the evaluation procedure). Several ERC grantees have been invited to share their experiences with potential candidates.

The sessions are open to all researchers interested in applying for the ERC 2010 schemes. Presentations will be delivered in French, but questions in English are welcome.

The sessions will be held in several locations across France:
- Strasbourg, 8 September;
- Montpellier and Rennes, 10 September;
- Lille, 11 September;
- Lyon and Paris, 14 September;
- Toulouse, 16 September;
- Bordeaux, 18 September;
