The Enterprise Europe Network in Portugal and BIO-NET, a network of National Contact Points (NCPs), are organising a brokerage event on the Seventh Framework Programme's (FP7) 'Food, agriculture and fisheries, and biotechnology' (KBBE) theme call 2010 in Lisbon, Portugal on 20 October 2009.
The event will provide an opportunity for participants to meet potential international and local partners and foster collaboration. A second aim is to assist enterprises, universities and research institutions in finding partners for product development, manufacturing, licensing agreements, joint ventures or other types of partnership.
In the morning session, representatives of the European Commission and European Technology Platforms will inform the attendees about funding opportunities under FP7 and the 2010 KBBE call. In the afternoon session, participants will have an opportunity to share project ideas, exchange information concerning the call and find potential partners for collaboration through bilateral meetings.
