'Space and the Arctic' conference, Stockholm, Sweden

The European Space Agency will be organising a workshop entitled ' Space and the Arctic' from 20 to 21 October in Stockholm, Sweden.

The programme schedule includes a range of topical sessions and speeches:
- climate change and the Arctic,
- Arctic marine transport and space,
- transport and security,
- sustainable exploitation,
- space today and future possibilities.
A reception and cruise in the islands around the Swedish capital will kick off the workshop.

This event will be held under the auspices of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Swedish National Space Board and the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) and the European Commission.For further information, please visit
