The EU-funded INCLUD-ED conference will take place in Brussels, Belgium on 18 November.

The main objective of this event is to present successful initiatives which are combating inequality and promoting social cohesion in such areas as employment, health, housing, and political participation. Representatives from organisations involved in these initiatives will take part in the conference. Topics to be covered will include:
- the scientific basis for reorienting inclusive social policies;
- increasing equality and efficiency in education: successful and transferable activities;
- community participation and social cohesion;
- the political and social impact of the INCLUD-ED project.

The INCLUD-ED project is an Integrated Project funded under the 'Citizens and governance in the knowledge-based society' thematic area of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).For further information, please click:
