A conference on ' From grids to clouds - e-infrastructure and business' will take place in Vilnius on 17 December 2009.
The event will focus on the role and use of the e-infrastructures (grids and clouds) in business and opportunities in use and the development of grid and cloud technology.
Presentations will display recent developments in the establishment of e-infrastructure on a national, regional and European levels, and on collaboration opportunities between academia and industry.
The event is sponsored by the Lithuanian Grid (LitGRID) academic consortium and two Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) funded projects, 'BalticGrid second phase' (BALTICGRID-II) and 'European grid initiative design study' (EGI_DS).For further information, please visit:
