The Rhône-Alpes Region and the partners of the PITER ('Platform for integration of trans regional energy research and development activities') project are organising a seminar on the 'Role of the regions in implementing European energy research and development strategies' on 2 December in Brussels, Belgium.
The purpose of this seminar will be to present new European initiatives in the field of renewable energies, as well as regional experiences in implementing European research activities in the field of energy, with a particular focus on the first results of the PITER project.
PITER, a Franco-Italian cooperative project funded under the 'Regions of knowledge' Theme of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) aims to promote renewable energies through joint actions in research and technological development, as well as through common political and economic strategies.For further information, please click:
