Conference on the 'Challenges of education and innovation' in CEEC, Berlin, Germany
The conference will provide a special forum for eligible researchers to build contacts with their peers from across Europe. Young scientists are expected to play an active role at the conference.
The conference will concentrate on the challenges of education and innovation in the Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC). The focus will mainly be on innovation processes in agriculture linked to the spread of knowledge in rural areas.
Topics to be addressed are the following:
- the modernisation of agriculture and economic development;
- investment in research and development in the CEEC;
- education, extension, innovation and growth in rural areas;
- rural extension services: public/private arrangements in knowledge provision to farmers;
- the institutional environment for knowledge spreading in rural areas.
