International conference on children's universities, multiple locations
The phrase 'children's universities' is a synonym for science-related lectures, workshops or demonstrations and other outreach activities which are held by academic staff and specifically geared towards the needs and prospects of children typically aged from 7 to 14 years. Children's university activities take place at more than 200 academic institutions and other locations in Europe and ten thousands of children are enrolled each year.
The European Children's University Network (EUCU.NET) forms an international network for cooperation for those, who are interested in science communication for children, including those who are organising children's university activities and those who plan to organise such activities.
