The Tenth International Automobile Recycling Congress (IARC) will be held in Basel, Switzerland from 3 to 5 March 2010.
Reducing the final disposal of waste from recycled vehicles and recovered components poses both environmental and market challenges throughout the EU. The IARC will examine this issue as well as policies and regulations that affect End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) recycling.
The first two days of the conference will include discussions and speakers from the industry and the European Commission. The third day is reserved for visits to a battery recycling plant, a hazardous waste landfill site, a car shredder and shredder fluff recycling plant, among other locations.For further information, please visit:
