The First International Workshop on Cloud Computing Interoperability and Services (Intercloud 2010) will be held in Caen, France from 28 June to 2 July 2010.

The event will focus on techniques, experiences and lessons learned for interoperable services in the area of cloud computing. The aim is to provide a forum which will bring together researchers for sharing and exchanging cloud computing-related research, technologies, experience and best practices for building clouds of interoperability, coordination capabilities and services.

'Cloud' is a common metaphor for an Internet-accessible infrastructure, hiding most of the implementation and deployment details of the system from users. Cloud computing delivers IT-related capabilities as services over the Internet, allowing resources to be managed and accessed at an Internet scale. It has been envisaged to be one of the main stream powering technologies of future IT systems.For further information, please click:
