The annual Royal Astronomical Society National Astronomy Meeting (RAS NAM) will be held at the University of Glasgow in Glasgow, UK from 12 to 16 April 2010.

The event will also incorporate meetings on 'UK solar physics' (UKSP) and 'Magnetosphere, ionosphere and solar-terrestrial' (MIST).

The year 2010 is the 250th anniversary of the Regius Chair of Astronomy at the University of Glasgow, first held by Alexander Wilson in 1760. The university has a long history of influential physical scientists including Lord Kelvin and James Watt.

The event will feature 14 plenary speakers and 35 parallel science sessions.For further information, please visit:
