eHealth Week 2010, Barcelona, Spain
The event is composed of the European Union's annual High Level Conference on eHealth and the World of Health Information Technology Conference and Exhibition (WOHIT 2010).
Overall, eHealth Week 2010 is expected to receive more than 2,500 participants from around the world, representing the majority of the eHealth sector's stakeholders. eHealth is a relatively recent term for healthcare practice which is supported by electronic processes and communication.
The Ministerial eHealth Conference will host 27 EU Member State health ministers and focus on the implementation of applications in eHealth.
WOHIT 2010 is planned as a meeting point for the information and communication technology industry, healthcare institutions and professionals.
