A conference on 'The future of philosophy of science' will be held in Tilburg, the Netherlands from 14 to 16 April 2010.
Philosophy of science deals with the foundations and methods of science. While the scope of philosophy of science is rather uncontroversial, there is considerable disagreement about its methodology.
The conference will explore the varying methodologies used to explore the subject. The objective is to identify similar features in the methodologies so that researchers can better trace the future of the discipline.
The conference will be interspersed with eight different plenary sessions. Each is composed of invited speakers and each speaker will present an abstract on his or her subject of research.For further information, please visit:
