A conference on 'European development co-operation to 2020 - post-Copenhagen: practical consequences for Europe' will be held in Brussels, Belgium on 23 March 2010.

The event aims to provide parliamentarians and decision makers with information on the practical consequences of the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference (COP15) and the ongoing international politics of climate change from an EU perspective.

The conference will focus on the European Union role as an actor in the global process while taking into consideration the implications of recent changes within EU policy processes and policy evolution in other areas of external relations policy.

The conference will:
- provide a review COP15 outcome and look ahead to the next meeting, COP16, in Mexico,
- provide an overview of Europe's role in policy,
- identify implications on EU external policy in relation to development cooperation.For further information, please visit:
