Conference on contaminated sites, Bratislava, Slovakia

A conference on contaminated sites will be held on from 2 to 4 June 2010 in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Entitled 'Contaminated Sites Bratislava 2010', the event is being organised under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic.

The conference is looking to facilitate the exchange of information and perspectives by leading experts and decision makers from various countries and areas of interest, with the involvement of the scientific and research communities, industry and service providers. Session topics will include:
- the impact of contaminated sites on soil, ground and surface water, and air contamination,
- contaminated sites in the scope of the European Union, individual Member States and other countries,
- large-scale cleanup projects,
- small-scale and local cleanup projects,
- cleanup technologies for contaminous materials,
