The REFGOV ('Reflexive governance in the public interest') project is holding its final conference on 'Reflexive governance in the public interest - democratic governance and collective action' in Brussels, Belgium on 27 and 28 May 2010.

The project has tested various theories of reflexive governance in a range of thematic fields like healthcare, energy, greening the economy, corporate governance and global public services. Based on this research, it has developed new reflexive approaches to governance. The conference aims not only to discuss these results, but also to identify the options that the EU now faces as it seeks both to redefine its modes of governance, and to rebuild a notion of European public interest.

Event session topics will include:
- 'Services of general interest - healthcare',
- 'Services of general interest - energy',
- 'Greening the economy',
- 'Corporate governance',
- 'Foreign direct investment and human development',
- 'Global public services and common goods'.For further information, please visit:
