A conference on 'women in computing' will be held from 16 to 17 September 2010 in Coimbatore, India.
The event will focus on women in computing, serving as a platform for new and renowned women researchers in the field of computer science and information technology to share their experiences and chart a roadmap for the future. This will be the first time such a conference is being hosted in India.
This conference will also highlight pioneering and cutting edge research by women in computing, social issues of relevance to women in computing, collaboration globally between researchers and successful professionals, and opportunities for role modeling and mentorship to encourage young women to enter the field of computing.
