A joint Japanese-EU workshop on 'Fundamental properties of novel superconducting materials' will take place on 1 August 2010 in Washington DC, USA.
The workshop, organised by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), will promote Japanese-EU scientific exchange in the field of superconductivity and explore the possibilities of coordinated research between Japanese and European researchers.
It will also highlight work being done by the European Commission and JST on a coordinated call for proposals to support research on the fundamental properties of novel superconducting materials.
Participants will have the opportunity to liaise and network, with a view towards putting together possible coordinated research proposals.For further information, please click:
