The 'European industrial technologies conference' will be held in Brussels, Belgium from 7 to 9 September 2010.
The event, organised by the European Commission in cooperation with the Belgian Council Presidency of the EU, will focus on nanotechnologies and nanosciences, materials and production technologies.
The conference will focus on the need for innovation within European industry as well as the major obstacles which are often encountered. It will also explore the future perspectives in newly developed manufacturing technologies, materials and nanotechnologies. Finally, the social, environmental sustainability and competitiveness perspectives of the European manufacturing sector will be examined
Participants are expected to come from industry, research organisations, universities and policy entities. There will also be chances to meet and discuss possibilities and proposals for cooperation and improved integration in the near future.For further information, please visit:
