'International week on micro and nanotechnologies for space 2010', Noordwijk, The Netherlands
This programme is designed around a series of workshops and roundtables on space applications. It will build on previous events sponsored by the European Space Agency and Caneus International, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the development of micro and nanotechnologies for aerospace applications.
Micro and nanotechnologies have significant advantages for space applications in such areas as Earth observation, navigation, communications and scientific missions. Specific benefits include fostering new types of missions and instruments, reducing cost, size, mass and time from mission conception to launch and increased performance, reliability and redundancy.
The roundtable will focus on micro and nanotechnologies for space applications like Earth observation, navigation, communications and scientific missions.
